New Lottery Covid-19 Fund

23 Sep 2020

We wanted to let you know about a new $40 million lottery fund, which has been established to focus on community and social initiatives in the wake of COVID-19. This fund will open on 28 October 2020 and will remain open until all funding has been allocated.

The Lottery COVID-19 Community Wellbeing Fund will provide one-off grants for community or social initiatives that increase the strength and resilience of communities that are responding to the impacts of COVID-19. We encourage you to find out if your organisation is eligible to apply.

This fund will support hapū, iwi and community organisations that have lost funding or have an increased demand on their services due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and community or social initiatives that strengthen community resilience and respond to the impacts of COVID-19.
